Do also read on the syllabus for the course ssru, and try to obtain a concept of the what the topics are about. Some universities also provide prep courses for students to see up before term starts. If they’re available, don’t overlook a chance to equip yourself with some knowledge before entering university. As lecturers in the university aren’t going to spoon-feed you with information, you may find these prep course very helpful in aiding you understand what is taught during lectures.
When you have the chance, happen to be your university campus and have a tour of the environment, merely to familiarise yourself. Record the full time taken for travel so you can plan your trips when term starts so as not to be late. Personal alarms might be useful if classes end late in the night because the campus could be dark and quiet, and therefore dangerous.
